ABOUT CIVILIAN REFIT
70% of workers find their sense of purpose in their work. When you’re in the military, that sense of purpose is given to you through common values and actions. That’s part of what makes the transition from military to civilian life so difficult.
Transitioning out of the military can be frustrating and confusing. 48% of service members said their transition was more difficult than they expected. For many, this can even lead to a crisis of identity. This is only natural when much of a servicemember’s identity has been tied to their roles. But when purpose has a dramatic effect on your happiness, you need to understand your identity and work in the civilian world.
Civilian Refit works to help you discover your civilian identity and apply it to the non-military workforce.
